Authorities of Warri South Local Government Council, yesterday continued clean - up of designated areas in Warri, as part of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for July.
Areas such as Warri - Sapele Road, Odion and Cemetery Roads,Okere Road, Okere Market and Okumagba Estate Roundabout, were cleaned - up by Environmental Health Officers and labourers hired by the Council.
The Warri South Council Supervisor for Environment, Patricia Edun, supervised the exercise on behalf of Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, while the Council's Head of Environment Department, Mrs. Stella Mode, ensured that the evacuation of refuse met the desired professional standard.
