Odeli upbeat as IRDC plans commissioning of Walkway, other projects in Tisun
The 800-meter walkway


The Chairman of Tisun Community Management Council in Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, Prince David Odeli, is in upbeat mood over plans by the Chevron established Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC to commission an 800meter concrete walkway, a jetty and 5 housing units of 2bedroom flats in Tisun Community.

 

Odeli, who spoke to Fresh Angle International, Thursday November 18, in a telephone chat, stated that people of Tisun Community are looking forward to the project commissioning slated for Tuesday November 23, assuring that the projects will be put to judicious use.

He commended the leadership of IRDC for ensuring that the projects were delivered to specification, urging them to execute more people-driven projects in Tisun.

 

Recall that Prince David Odeli, had angrily reiterated his anger over the perceived “deliberate neglect” of Dibi Field; comprising Tisun, Kolokolo, Eghoro, Ureju Usor and Saghara Communities in Warri North Local Government, by the Federal and Delta State Governments, describing the level of underdevelopment in the aforesaid oil and gas bearing communities as a National embarrassment”.

 

 

Prince Odeli, had mentioned Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs of the Federal and State Governments such as the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Delta State Ministry of Works and Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, of being primarily responsible for the neglect of Dibi Field.
