Kemi & Nuru Foundation, empowers elderlies in Delta

A Non-Governmental Organization, NGO, Kemi & Nuru Foundation, has empowered some elderlies from Ugboroke in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, with cash.

 

Our Senior Correspondent reports that over 20 aged women, underwent test on their sugar level, High Blood Pressure and a brief health talk was given by Dr. Sharon Ofomana, on other related ailments, as part of support programmes organized by the Kemi & Nuru Foundation.

 

Kemi & Nuru Foundation, was created to support the less privileged in the society, especially the aged, irrespective of their tribe, religion or association.

While addressing the beneficiaries at Ugboroke Town Hall, Evang. (Engr.) Nurudeen Oluoboh, promised that Kemi & Nuru Foundation, will continue to support the elderlies, assuring that there's hope for them, with God on their side.  

 

Kemi & Nuru Foundation, also visited Obruche Orphanage, along Okere-Ugborikoko Road, Warri and presented cash, cartons of noodles, bags of rice and beverages among other items, to assist the orphans.

 

Secretary, Ugboroke Community Development Committee, CDC, Mr. Kevwe Okandeji, Media Officer, Celestine Ukah, Anita Aboloje and other members, were among the team that visited Ugboroke Community and Obruche Orphanage for the charity project.
