The Growing Nonchalance Amongst Civil/ Public Servants


We often hear Christian clerics chastise their members for lateness to church services and accuse them of being dedicated only to their places of work, believing they are prompt when it comes to reporting for duties in places where they get their means of livelihood, irrespective of unfavourable weather and other extraneous factors. Whereas Bosses and Heads of Departments/ Units, believe civil/ public servants show more commitment to their religious activities, compared to official duties.

 

Thought: There seems to be a growing nonchalance among civil/ public servants in Nigeria.
