NNPC/Chevron, Agbami advertise the 2021 University scholarship awards


Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL in collaboration with its Joint Venture (JV) partner, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, have called for applications for the 2021 University scholarship awards, just as Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited, has equally announced the 2021 AGBAMI Medical and Engineering Professional Scholarship awards.

According to the advertorial made available to Fresh Angle International, Tuesday December 28 by the management of Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL, the University Scholarship Awards, is for suitably qualified Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.

The advertorial, which described the scholarship programme as a major component of Chevron’s strategic social investment in the development of education in Nigeria, noted: “E-Applications are invited from:

1. Full-time, SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students studying any of the under-listed courses in Nigerian Universities:

  • Accountancy
  • Agricultural Science
  • Architecture
  • Business Administration/Economics
  • Computer Science
  • Environmental Studies/Surveying
  • Geology/Geophysics/Geo Informatics
  • Law
  •  Mass Communication/Journalism

  “Eligibility criteria

Applicants must:

  • Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in a 5.0 grade system.
  • Have a minimum of six O-level credits in one sitting.

 

“2. The NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture is also offering scholarships specifically to blind/visually impaired SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students studying any course in Nigerian Universities:

Applicants must:

  • Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a 5.0 grade system.
  • Have a minimum of five O-level credits.

  • All interested students should submit accurate and complete information.
