Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, says the newly established Dennis Osadebay University in Asaba, the state capital, will be ready for use next month by over 500 students that have already been offered admission.
The Governor, gave the assurance in a tweet this evening, after inspecting work at the university site.
"As we work towards repositioning our educational system for better delivery, today I inspected the ongoing projects at the Dennis Osadebay University in Asaba.
"Exactly six months ago, I was here at the University for an inspection. From what I saw today, I am extremely impressed with the level of work that has been done during this period.
"Moving forward, I am confident that by February the university will be ready for use by the over 500 students that have already been offered admission," Dr. Okowa, stated.
