The lawmaker, who as Chairman of Warri South Local Government Transition Committee, did remarkably well to activate the health facility, before the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, built more structures on the facility, took the DG of DSCHC to the primary healthcare centre, with a view to fashioning out ways of upgrading the medical equipment and attracting more medics to the facility.

While noting that people of the seven cluster communities, solely depend on the health facility at Ode Itsekiri for primary health care, Hon. Uroye, assured that his office in concert with the Delta State Contributory Health Commission and other critical stakeholders, will work towards making the environment where the health facility is situated, more friendly for health workers and patients.

Dr. Ben Nkechika, who spoke after inspecting the facility at Ode-Itsekiri on the instance of Hon. Uroye, classified the seven neighbouring communities as vulnerable, hence entitling the elderlies, women, youths and children from the communities free health insurance care, from the Delta State Contributory Health Commission.

Dr. Nkechika, enjoined people of the aforesaid communities to come out and register for the contributory scheme, in order to benefit from the health care, just as he promised to bring the health facility to limelight.
