Edjeba Road Construction: Warri South Council advises motorists on alternative route

The Executive Council of Warri South Local Government in Delta State, has advised motorists and commuters plying the Edjeba Road, off Airport Road in Warri, to use alternative routes in the interim, pending completion of the ongoing Warri-Uvwie Storm Water Drainage Project being executed by the Delta State Government, as it affects the Edjeba axis of Warri.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, in a press statement released in Warri, this evening, Friday March 18, noted that the advice became necessary, to avoid a situation where motorists and commuters plying the Edjeba Road, suffer untold hardship and impact negatively on their socio-economic lives.

Dr. Tidi, assured that the Delta State Government, was doing everything possible to deliver Warri-Uvwie Storm Water Drainage Project in record time, to check flooding in the twin-cities of Warri and Effurun, particularly as the rainy season approaches.
