Summit Itsekiri youth body, Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC, has described the death of a prominent Itsekiri indigene and first female university vice chancellor in Nigeria, Prof. Grace Alele - Williams as, " deeply sad and great loss of a role model to Itsekiri youths worldwide."
Recall that Prof. Alele - Williams, a Professor of Mathematics Education, reportedly died yesterday, Friday March 25 at the age of 89.
Public Relations Officer 2 of the Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC, Prince Stanley Oritsemolebi Emiko, who spoke to Fresh Angle International on telephone this afternoon, Saturday March 26, on behalf of INYC, stated that the demise of Prof. Alele - Williams, was not only shocking and regrettable, but would create a vacuum that may be difficult to fill ," for Itsekiri Nation, Delta State, the women folks and Nigeria as a whole."
The INYC, posited that the intelligent and humble disposition of late Prof. Grace Alele - Williams, " despite her career heights, academic prowess and International reputation" would remain indelible in the hearts of Itsekiri youths.

Whilst mourning with the family of late Prof. Grace Alele - Williams, the entire Itsekiri Nation, the University of Benin and the academic community in Nigeria, INYC promised to leverage on the legacies of late Prof. Alele - Williams, in its resolve to lead Itsekiri youths globally to the pinnacle of their chosen careers.
