Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Comrade Dennis Mene, has appealed to the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu and other members of the National executive of the party, to quickly settle the issues between the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo- Agege, the Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN) Delta State gubernatorial candidate of the APC in the 2019 general elections, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, and Chairman, Board of Federal Medical Centre Abuja, Dr. Alex Ideh, to save APC from losing more members in Delta State.

Comrade Mene, who owns a Dip. Law, BA (Hons.) MPA and Msc, stated: “I wish to bring to your notice that all is not well with our party, especially in Delta state and if something urgent is not done to carry all stakeholders along, I fear that we may not get the desired result in the 2023 general elections. I would have expected that by now that all issues that bothered on the congresses from the state, local government and ward levels are resolved, going for the 2023 general elections. As it is now, we have parallel executive members from the state to the ward levels”.

Whilst congratulating Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu and other members of the new National Executive of the party, the Warri South APC Chieftain, noted: “Without a united front ahead of the 2023 general elections in my state, it would be difficult for the party to uproot the PDP that has led the state since 1999 with well-structured empowerment for their members. Just recently, a notable member of the APC in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Hon. Jaro Egbo, popularly called the Hivotage man decamped to the PDP, he and his followers in the state would be officially received in the Ughelli Township Stadium on the 4th of April, 2022. There is also the rumour that the people's general and the Governorship candidate of the APC in state in 2019, Chief Great Ogboru, may be leaving the party and many more, because of the unresolved issues in the party”.

“There is no doubt that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear to ensure that the party run smoothly, carrying all stakeholders along for the success of the party come 2023 and beyond. It is my earnest prayer that God in his infinite mercy, will give you wisdom to perform this great task ahead of you”, Mene expressly told Adamu.
