Delta State recorded six new infections of COVID-19 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reports fresh 138 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across Nigeria in the last 24hours.
Break down of infections released few minutes ago and obtained from the verified twitter handle of NCDC by Fresh Angle International, showed that Lagos State had the highest infections of 71 confirmed cases, while Rivers State, the Federal Capital Territory, Kaduna, Kwara, Bayelsa, Edo, Abia, Bauchi, Kano and Nasarawa states, recorded, 31, 10, 7, 5, 2, 2, 1, 1 and 1 infections, respectively.
According to the disease surveillance agency, Nigeria now has 256,711 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 250,158 discharged and 3,144 deaths.
