Nigeria's COVID - 19 spike continues as country records 347 infections overnight


 

 

The recent spike in COVID - 19 cases across Nigeria, continued overnight with fresh 347 infections, compared to the 332 cases reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC two days ago.

 

There has been an upsurge in COVID - 19 cases across Nigeria in the last two weeks as the rains continue to fall, with its attendant cold weather.

 

According to the NCDC, Lagos State recorded 265 infections of COVID - 19 in the last 24 hours, while Imo, Rivers, Edo, FCT, Akwa  - Ibom, Plateau and Bayelsa , reported 47, 15, 11, 4, 2, 2 and one cases overnight.

 

Fresh Angle International, can report that Nigeria now has 257,637 confirmed cases of COVID - 19, with 250,287 discharged and 3,144 deaths.

 

Kaduna, Kano and Sokoto States, reported zero cases in the last 24 hours.
