BREAKING NEWS: Court strikes out suit filed by Tenumah led NAIG

The High Court 2 sitting in Warri, Delta State today struck out a suit filed by Miss Alero Naomi Tenumah and Edema Oritseweyinmi Collins, wherein they claimed that they are the original National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG and nothing like NAIG Board of Trustees led by Ajueyitse Otuedon.

Apart from dragging the defendants: Messrs Ajueyitse Martins Otuedon and Ireden Kessington, both of whom are members of NAIG Board of Trustees to the High Court 2 Warri, Miss Alero Tenumah and Edema Oritseweyinmi Collins through their Counsel, Barr. Jemide Atie asked the court to compel the defendants to pay them N 2. 5million as damages for allegedly standing as impostors.

Delivering judgment, the Trial Judge, Hon. Justice F.O. Ohwo described the plea as controversial matter with regards to interpretation of law and went further to say that most of the reliefs sought by Alero Tenumah and Edema Collins are academic in nature.

The learned Trial Judge cited Order 3 Rule 16 of the High Court Civil Procedure Rule, Delta State in dismissing the suit.

Fresh Angle International can also exclusively report that there was shock at the court when the Trial Judge announced that the license of the Counsel to the plaintiffs, Barr. Jemide Atie, a former APC Aspirant for Warri South Constituency II seat in Delta State House of Assembly has allegedly been withdrawn by the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA (even though it was gathered from a legal practitioner in Warri that Barr. Atie’s license was only suspended by the NBA) over breach of professional ethics.

Though Counsel to the plaintiffs was not in court during the judgment, Counsel to the defendants, Barr. Uti & Co were represented by Barr. Shedrack Demaki.
