NIMASA N13billion Revelation: Delta’s Deputy Governor, Otuaro, Tompolo fingered

 Following the arrest of sacked Director General of NIMASA, Mr. Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi 10:00am, yesterday, Thursday July 30, by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on the allegation of fraud, relating to a 13 billion naira land acquisition money for  the permanent site of Nigerian Maritime University, NMU, Okerenkoko in Warri South –West Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief Michael Johnny has accused the former NIMASA DG, Mr. Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi , current Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro and Ex-militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, otherwise  known as Tompolo of culpability in  the sharing of 3billion naira of the 13 billion.

In an exclusive telephone chat with Fresh Angle International,  at about 7:00am Friday July 31, Chief Michael Johnny who claimed he was arrested and detained for two months in Federal Prisons, Warri  over a protest he led against the sharing of the money, revealed that present Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro midwife the alleged sharing of the 3 billion naira as Attorney to the community, Okerenkoko as at then.

According to him, three billion naira was purportedl released to the community by the sacked NIMASA DG through Barr. Kingsley Otuaro and  one billion naira was shared  to Tompolo, adding that out of one billion naira meant for other members of the community, only N350 million was purportedly released.

He also claimed that Ex- NIMASA DG allegedly got a share of one billion naira, even as he could not ascertain if the remaining 10 billion naira was further released by the Patrick Akpobolokemi led NIMASA.

The All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain further revealed that a total of 22 contractors are currently handling construction work at the Nigerian Maritime University, NMU site and the only “ Indigenous contractor among the 22 is Tompolo’s cousin, Kestin Pondi”.
