Political Adviser to Delta State Governor, Hon. Omimi Esquire says Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa was destined to be Governor of Delta State, declaring that there is nothing anybody, political party or institution can do to stop him from delivering on the mandate given to him by both God and majority of Deltans.
Hon. Omimi Esquire made the declaration Thursday December 24, 2015 in an exclusive chat with Fresh Angle International in Warri, Delta State while reacting to the Appeal Court victory of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru of Labour Party, LP and Olorogun O’tega Emerhor of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to him, the judgment of the five-man Court of Appeal panel headed by Justice Uwani Abba-Aji which upheld the decision of the Governorship Tribunal at Asaba is a confirmation of the fact that Dr. Okowa was destined to be Chief Executive of Delta State.
While describing the Appeal Court victory as an act of God, Hon. Omimi averred that Dr. Okowa’s political history, especially events that led to his emergence as governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP speaks of a man whose goal, determination and destiny can’t be brushed aside, no matter the opposition.
The Governor’s Aide admonished Deltans to support the Governor to build an economically viable state, saying Deltans should rally round Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in the quest at making Delta State the industrial, commercial and tourist destination of Nigeria.
