The Olare-Aja and Elder/Head of the Omateye Family of Bateren Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Pa. Oduo-Ore Ekwejunor Etchie in line with the directive of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli, has nominated Prince Victor Toju Fregene, Mr. Gabriel Eteh Etuwewe, Mr. Robinson Edomidaghan, Madam Florence Fregene and Mrs. Ruth Ajebishi Madamedon as Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC executive members from Abiteye Field in Bateren Community.
In a statement addressed to the Chairman of IRDC with reference to a letter of recommendation dated Monday August 10, 2015, Pa. Oduo-Ore Etchie stressed that the essence was to " state categorically that the said Prince Victor Toju Fregene and others are the community unanimous selection/nomination as Bateren Community representatives in the Itsekiri Regional Development Council executive".
According to the statement, “the nomination of the above names were as a result of Moses Fregene and members tenure expiration at both the Community and Itsekiri Regional Development Council (Committee) IRDC levels."
