A foremost Non-Governmental Organization, Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ), has enjoined Christians to rededicate their lives to the services of God and exhibit the spirit of love and sacrifice as embodied by our Lord Jesus Christ as they mark the Easter festivity.
Besides, we urge Christian’s leaders to lead by examples as enshrined in the Holy Writ, as Jesus Christ showed us example of true leadership when he sacrificed His life on the Cross to save mankind, urging them not to abuse their offices as well as shunning ostentatious living.
The Center sues Christians to be their brothers’ keepers by displaying good neighborliness, and living in peace and harmony with one another.
CEPEJ also advises communities torn apart by intra and inter communal crises to use this period to reunite as no development can be achieved in an environment wracked by rancor and bloodletting.
