Details are still unfolding in Warri, Delta State of how the wife of a pastor, Mrs. Mary Attah killed her hubby in controversial circumstances for allegedly impregnating another woman.

While some sources claimed the woman first stabbed her hubby identified as Pastor Darlington Attah before setting him ablaze, others said the jealous wife first poured pepper on the husband’s face while he was asleep, strangled him immediately he woke up after feeling the heat of the pepper, before bathing him with fuel and subsequently setting fire on him.

Fresh Angle gathered that the late Pastor Darlington Attah who was allegedly ex-communicated from the Household of Faith Bible Church, Okere, Warri for adultery has been having serious domestic issues with his jealous wife. Matters came to a head recently when Pastor Attah bought a Jeep, leaving another vehicle for his wife to use. But his assailant (wife) demanded to make use of the jeep while he drives the other vehicle. The pastor bluntly refused and the wife has been having a running battle with him, claiming that the jeep will worsen his infidelity.

Some members of Household of Faith Bible Church who spoke to Fresh Angle described Pastor Darlington Attah as “a very peaceful man who does not take his eyes off women, particularly other people’s wives”.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Charles Muka told Our Senior Correspondent on phone that the matter has not been brought to his notice, but there are speculations that the jealous wife who has four children for the late pastor Attah is presently under police custody at Asaba, the Delta State Capital.

Investigations reveal that after he was ex-communicated from where he was assistant to Apostle Charles Igho Smart, founder of Household of Faith Bible Church, late Pastor Attah allegedly joined Flaming Fire Ministry at Ovierugo Street off Ejemudaro by Cinema site, Okumagba Layout in Warri.
The late Pastor Attah who was a goal-tender during his soccer playing days before his conversion to Christianity was sent to Pastoral school by the founder of Household of Faith Bible Church, late Apostle Charles Igho Smart before making him his assistant.

Fresh Angle gathered that late Atta’s mentor, Apostle Igho Smart who divorced his wife for reasons not known died recently in mysterious circumstances after his stomach protruded and no ailment was diagnosed.
