Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council Chapter of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Comrade Godfrey Affor Maku has directed all former executive members and departmental representatives of the union to immediately hand over documents of the union in their possession to the newly sworn- in members of the branch executive.
Comrade Maku handed down the directive today during the swearing- in of members of the new executive and departmental reps at the council’s new legislative complex in Warri, Delta State.
While advising the newly sworn- in exco members and departmental reps to be dedicated to their duty, Comrade Maku explained that the union decided to hold the swearing-in on a low key due to the financial position of the council.
High point of the brief ceremony was the official swearing- in of the new executive members and departmental reps by Comrade Godfrey Affor Maku.
