Remember us, we gave PDP 45 percent votes in the last elections - Itsekiris in Ethiope appeal to Oborevwori

Itsekiris in Ethiope Federal Constituency, Delta state, have appealed to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to remember them in appointments and development programmes, saying despite giving PDP 45% votes in the constituency during the last general polls, there is no form of reward so far.                         

Peoples Democratic Party leader in Unit 4 Ward 12, Ethiope West Local Government Area, Thompson Stephen Amejuma, who made the appeal on behalf of Itsekiris in Ethiope Federal Constituency, during an exclusive telephone chat with Fresh Angle International weekend, posited that Itsekiris in Ethiope Federal Constituency particularly gave Governor Oborevwori 45% votes in " about 56 units in our areas, which we control, in - spite of pressure and intimidation to vote for the main opposition APC gubernatorial candidate in the last election."                              

Amejuma, who is also the Chairman of Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC, Ethiope Chapter, averred: "We the Itsekiris in Ethiope West and East, worked for PDP in the last general elections. We took risk against all odds, spent our money, time and other resources, canvassing for votes for PDP from one unit to another. We have documentary evidences to show how we delivered for Governor Oborevwori and other PDP candidates in our constituency.
