The Traditional Prime Minister (Otota) of Okere Urhobo Kingdom, Warri, Chief Wilson Omavoweh Eboh has cautioned members of the newly elected executive of Okere Urhobo Development Movement, OUDM to ensure that all divisive tendencies capable of causing rancor in Okere Urhobo and Warri South Local Government Area in general must give way for mutual understanding as well as unity of purpose.
Chief Eboh who handed down the advice on behalf of The Orosuen-In-Council on Sunday September 4 at The Orosuen Palace in Warri during the swearing -in of the newly elected executive of the “has shown vividly that we are one and indivisible community with a common destiny”.
He tasked the new executive to discharge their duties in strict compliance with the community constitution, especially as it affects the protection of lives and properties of the kingdom as well as from all criminal activities.
While admonishing the youth leadership to maintain high level of integrity, Chief Eboh stressed the need for Chiefs, leaders and elders of Okere Urhobo to as a matter of duty offer sincere advice, support and encouragement to the youth executive at all times to enable them achieve their desired objectives.
Responding, the re-elected Chairman of Okere Urhobo Development Movement, Comrade Cyril Eboh quipped that the inexperience of the past will be corrected in the quest by his leadership to attract the needed development to Okere Urhobo in particular and Warri South Local Government Area as a whole.

While noting that their best is yet to come, Mr. Eboh assured that his leadership within the next three years will build existing legacies with a view to providing jobs, skill acquisition as well as fostering peace, both within Okere Urhobo and its neighbours.
He promised to create an enabling environment that will encourage investors to come and do business in Okere Urhobo.
In a remark, Chief Bright Okumagba averred that the presence of Itsekiri political leaders such as Political Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon. Omimi Esquire, former member of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Godwin Toritseju Abigor, Warri South PDP Chairman, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe, Mr. Emmanuel Abigor and Andrew Megbele during the swearing in “means the future of unity” among Itsekiri and Urhobos in Warri “is very bright and we won't see Okere and Warri crisis again”.
Our Correspondent reports that prominent Okere Urhobo indigenes in attendance include President -General of Okere Urhobo, Chief Emmanuel Okumagba, Pa. Daniel Eboh as well as Pa. Churchill Oki.
Other members of the 12-man Okere Urhobo Development Movement are: Comrade Austin Brume Eyekpimi -Vice Chairman, Comrade Jefferson Avwerosuo Siakpere -Secretary, Tseye Okpagoro-PRO, Samson Ogodo -Treasurer, Efe Opugen -Financial Secretary, Duke Eboh -Auditor, Niyi Olasehinde -Assistant Secretary, Lawson Okumagba -Welfare /Organizing Officer, Tabunor Okekere-Chief Whip, Ogaga Jessa -Cultural Officer and Ademola Akoniseri -Sanitary Officer.
Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru was among prominent indigenes of Okere-Urhobo that attended the swearing-in today at the Orosuen Palace, Warri.
