RE: ANGER IN DELTA AS POLICEMEN Teargas 9- month-old baby, parents

The attention of the Delta State Police Command has been drawn to a news report entitled “Anger in Delta as Policemen teargas 9-month-old baby, parents”, reported by Bolaji Ogundele, on page 54 of the Nation newspaper of Saturday December 3rd, 2016.

The Command wishes to state that the Commissioner of Police, CP Zanna M. Ibrahim PSC is appalled
at the reported heartless action of the policemen and has consequently ordered immediate investigation into the case and the arrest of all the officers involved.

The Command assures the public that it will not spare any of its officers and men found to have engaged in any reckless and unlawful act.
