A renowned Warri-based Educationist, Mr. Bernard Otiri, says it was an honour to be amongst many co-labourers to pioneer tree planting at Warri Kingdom Royal Cemetery in Ijala, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Mr. Otiri, made the statement shortly after he was honoured Thursday April 18, for his immense contributions to the listing of Warri Kingdom Royal Cemetery, Ijala as a State and National Monument.
While expressing gratitude to God Almighty for the “seemingly insignificant seed” that God gave him to plant in the name of opening Iwere ethnic nationality to larger world, Mr. Otiri, noted: “My humble respect to His Highness, the Olu of Warri, Atuwatse III. May he reign long on the throne. I am grateful to the entire Board members of the Nana Living History Museum for counting us (me and my late brother) worthy of this award.
