The Delta State Chief Head of Operation, Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, Ernest Edgar has blamed the vandalizm of pipelines and electricity cables as well as refusal of many consumers to pay their electricity bills.
Edgar gave the explanation Tuesday February 7 when BEDC organized a one-day customers’ forum in Warri, Delta State.
He said within last week, the country has been experiencing system collapse because the supply from the Nation Grid has not been stable.
