The new President of Rotary Club of Osubi under District 9141 of Rotary International, Rtn. Gloria Omamogho, says her leadership will prioritize Transformation, Connection and Inspiration, in the new rotary year of 2024-2025.
Our Senior Roving Correspondent, reports that Rtn. Omamogho, made the disclosure Wednesday July 3 at Osubi in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, during her installation as the 15th President of Rotary Club of Osubi.
Rtn. Omamogho, averred: “Rotary Club will continue to focus on transformative initiatives that will transform our communities, foster a culture of relationships within our Club and youth engagement by empowering the next generation.
“I am confident that with you, fellow Rotarians, and friends of Rotary, collectively, we will create magical moments of transformation, build strong connections, and inspire others to join us in this noble cause of Rotary and ultimately make the world a better place.”
The Outgone President of Rotary Club of Osubi, Rotarian Edwin Ijoni, earlier in his address, commended the District Governor and members for the support, he got as the 14th President of the club.

Rotarian Ijoni, said despite the economic challenges of the country, Rotary Club of Osubi, played significant roles in key service projects, that had been of tremendous impact to communities within its area.
He listed the projects to include; provision of exercise books to secondary schools, donation of maternity kits to expectant women in Ovwian Health Center, during Child and Maternity Month, in partnership with three Rotary Clubs, execution of the End Polio Now campaign as well as free Prostate and Cervical cancer test programmes.
The guest speaker, Rtn. Ikenna Ogbonna, who spoke on the topic “Why must I join Rotary Club”, highlighted some of the benefits as the Opportunity to serve, Professional Networking, Personal Growth and Development, World Understanding among others.”

High points of the event, were the presentation of Rotary Charter Certificate, gavel and medallion to the new President as well as the constitution of a new board with Rotarian Gloria Omamogho as President.
Other members of the new board of Rotary Club of Osubi, are: Vice President; Rtn. Bemigho Akande, Secretary; Rtn Patricia Orji, Assistant Secretary; Rtn Onome Okologo, Treasurer; Rtn. Marian Akpemuwa and President-elect, Rtn. Malik Abubakar.
