New Ughelli North Chairman, Egbo seeks partnership to implement his blueprint for economic transformation

The new Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Olorogun (Barr) Jaro Egbo, has solicited the partnership of relevant National and International agencies, to implement his administration's blueprint for economic transformation and development of the Council.

Our Ughelli North Bureau Chief, reports that Hon. Egbo, stated this today, Tuesday July 16, when he officially received the handover note from the Head of Personnel Management, HPM, Ughelli North Local Government Council, Mr. Timothy Ase.

The Ughelli North Council Boss, commended the HPM for running the affairs of the Council for the past months, urging him to support his administration to make Ughelli North an enviable Council in the state.

While touring the secretariat, Hon. Egbo frowned at the bad state of facilities in the Council secretariat, assured the workers that their welfares as regard conducive and good working environment will be his topmost priority, but said his administration will not tolerate absenteeism.

In an interview with newsmen, Hon. Egbo, promised to work with the Local Government Legislative Arm and other stakeholders, including security agencies to ensure the problem of insecurity is solved in the area.

Hon. Egbo reiterated his commitment to ensure that environment department of the Council, rise up to their task by implementing clean environment as well as sanitation rules and order.

The Chairman, pledged his administration's alignment with the M.O.R.E agenda of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, with the aim of bringinga the dividends of democracy to all nooks and crannies in Ughelli North.
