Youths in Kogi State shunned the much anticipated nationwide #endbadgovernance protest.
It was gathered that most of the strategic areas in Lokoja the Kogi State capital were deserted.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that flash points such as Ganaja junction, government house road, Paparanda, and Nataco were barricaded by security agencies comprising Nigeria Police force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), local Vigilantes, Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC)
It was observed that most of the shops in Lokoja were under lock and key over fear of attack by protesters in the State.
As at 9:51 am, Motorists, Commercial motor cyclists and tricycle riders were going about with their daily activities.
