Egbo hosts Oborevwori’s Senior Political Adviser, appeals for revitalization of health centers

In a significant political gathering, Olorogun (Barr.) Jaro Movudu Egbo Ksc, Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, welcomed Senator Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo, Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, to an interactive town hall meeting.

The event, part of Aguariavwodo’s ongoing tour of Delta’s 25 local government areas, brought together political appointees, party stakeholders, and members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ughelli North.

Speaking during the meeting, Chairman Egbo commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his administration’s development initiatives, particularly in Ughelli North.

He emphasized that the M.O.R.E Agenda—a key policy of the Oborevwori administration—remains the guiding principle of his leadership at the local government level.

Our Ughelli North Bureau Chief, reports that Egbo outlined key projects and areas that require the state government’s immediate attention.

He urged for increased investment in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and youth empowerment, calling for the completion of ongoing road projects in Uwheru and the approval of a 20-kilometer road project.

He also appealed for the revitalization of health centers and the appointment of youths and women to positions of empowerment.

“The challenges we face are significant, but with the continued support of the state government and collaborative efforts from all stakeholders, we are confident that our vision for these projects will become a reality,” Egbo stated.

In response, Senator Aguariavwodo praised the leadership of Ughelli North and reassured the community of Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to their development.

He highlighted the governor’s efforts to maintain peace and stability across the state, while also ensuring that residents are actively engaged in socioeconomic activities.

“Governor Oborevwori strongly believes in the people of Ughelli North and is ready to do even more for them.

His administration is working tirelessly to address the needs of all Deltans, and I will convey today’s discussions and concerns directly to the governor,” said Aguariavwodo.

The meeting was attended by royal fathers, top political leaders, and numerous party faithful, reflecting the deep engagement between the government and the people of Ughelli North.
