One of the aspirants to the position of President of Itsekiri National Youths Council, INYC, Comrade Toju Robinson Ekengbuda, has withdrawn from the race.
Ekengbuda, told Fresh Angle International in an exclusive telephone interview last night that his decision was as a result of Monday October 28 declaration by The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
The Monarch, had announced dissolution of the executive of INYC, set up a committee to draft new constitution for the body and placed 40 years as age limit for anyone intending to contest leadership positions in the Itsekiri apex youth body.
The soft - spoken Ekengbuda, said: " I was actually going for the position of INYC President, but going by the declaration of The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, I have decided to step down, to obey the declaration of Ogiame."
