Over 5,000 flights, schools disrupted as snow storm, blizzard hit US

No fewer than 5,000 flights and schools were cancelled as well as shut on Tuesday March 14 in parts of the United States of America due to heavy snow storm and blizzard, Fresh Angle International has gathered.

Our United States Correspondent reports that some government offices were also affected, while more schools are expected to suffer shutdown Wednesday March 15 as a result of blizzard.

Already, many families are reported to have taken precautionary measures by stocking up their homes with food and emergency kits.

It was not clear as at the time of this report how long the freezing weather will last.
