The controversy of who is the authentic Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, came to the fore in Sapele, Delta State, Wednesday January 1, as the Olare - Ebi (Oldest man) of the Ologbotsere Eyinmisanren Descendants, Pa Higson Jofotan Oporokun, insisted that Chief Ayirimi Emami, remains the title holder.
Pa Oporokun, who is also the Olare - Aja of Jakpa Community in Warri North Local Government Area, spoke in Itsekiri Language, while addressing a large gathering of Ologbotsere Eyinmisanren Descendants, during the celebration of his 105th birth anniversary.

Prince Yemi Emiko, Chief Mike Odeli, Chief Ayirimi Emami & Chief Akoma Dimeyin
According to him, the Ologbotsere chieftaincy title, is not for members of Ologbotsere Eyinmisanren Descendants, whose paternity is not from the family tree, insisting that for someone to be eligible for the prestigious title, he must be paternally from Ologbotsere Eyinmisanren Descendants.
He declared:" Ologbotsere chieftaincy came directly from Benin, it's the head of all chiefs. The father that gave birth to me, told me. What a child is taught, if he grows up, he doesn't forget, Bible said so. "
The title ( Ologbotsere) was given to Ayiri Emami. I sat down as head of the family and gave the title to Ayiri Emami. He will hold the title till evening ( implying till the end). As I said it, so it will be."
