Gov. Ododo flags-off construction of multi million dollars industrial park, Pharmaceutical company


Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has flagged-off the construction of multi million dollars Mary Ogwuche industrial park, and Johnpaul Pharmaceutical limited cleaning products in Olamaboro Local Government Area of the State.

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony in Inele on Tuesday, Governor Ododo said his administration will continue to advance the course of Kogi State from being a Civil Servant State to an industrious State through Public Private Partnership.

Ododo averred that his administration recently flag off a multi million naira gas company in Ajaokuta noting that the State will continue to support individuals who intends to bring about all the needed development for his people.

Represented by the Executive Chairman Olamaboro Local Government Comrade Ameh Williams, the Kogi State Governor posited that his administration will continue to industrialized the State by attracting investors that will create meaningful employment for the Youths.

He added that his administration has invested massively on security, health, infrastructure, education and other critical sector in the State.

Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Ododo called on the People of Olamaboro and Kogi State in general to embrace this laudable project, stressing that, after completion of the project, it will  create over 6000 jobs and increase the internally generated revenue of the Local Government.

"This company is for the entire State and Country in general. Bringing this company closer to the people is highly commendable. My administration in Kogi State will provide all the needed support to fast track the completion of this project which is expected to create thousands of employment for our Youths" he added.

Earlier in his speech, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jamub group of Companies  Prince Jacob Aminu Momoh who is facilitating the construction of the industrial park and the pharmaceutical company asserted that the industrial City park is a testament to the company unwavering belief in the potential of Nigeria and its people. 

"This day marks not just the culmination of years of planning and hard work, but also the dawn of anew era of industrial growth, and opportunity for Kogi State, the region and our nation. 

"This park is very dear to Jamub Group of Companies. It is a symbol of our commitment to building a commercially vibrant Kogi East.

We have long envisioned a space where industry, innovation, and community could thrive together; a space where dreams could take root, and businesses could flourish.

 

" Today, that vision becomes a reality! The Mary Ogwuche Industrial City Park is that space a carefully planned and strategically located hub, designed to foster collaboration, attract investment, and drive sustainable economic development! 

 

"This park is not just a collection of factories; it is a carefully curated ecosystem. It will accommodate state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, supporting diverse industries, from agriculture and agro-allied ventures to other key sectors. 

 

"It is a place where businesses of all sizes, both local and international, can find the resources, infrastructure, and support they need to succeed. And importantly, it is a place where people can live, learn, and grow — thanks to the inclusion of world-class educational institutions and a modern residential estate with requisite amenities.

 

" Today, we also celebrate the ground breaking of Jonnpaul Pharmaceuticals Limited's FMCG Products Factory, a shining example of the type of enterprise we aim to attract to this park. 

 

"This factory represents a significant investment in local manufacturing, demonstrating a commitment to producing high-quality, affordable cleaning products that will improve the lives of countless Nigerians and Africans large 

 

"The project, and the park as a whole, are not just about profits and expansion. They are about people. They are about creating jobs, empowering communities, and building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria. They are about leaving a legacy for future generations".

 

In his goodwill message, the Attah of Igala HRM Mathew Opaluwa who was represented by the Ejeh of Dekina HRH  Chief Simeon Ojah noted that this ground breaking ceremony reflects the creation of history adding that it will bring meaningful development to his community.

 

"This is a welcome development in Olamaboro Local Government. This will make the Sons and daughters of this community to be self reliant and stay away from crimes and criminalities".

 

He, however, thanked the Government of Kogi State for providing an enabling environment for business to strive stressing that the people are willing to take  ownership for the success of the company.

 

 

This industrial park was named after the Mother of the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jamub group of Companies who was born and bred in this promising community.

 

 

Mary Ogwuche Industrial City Park, a landmark initiative spearheaded by Jamub Group of Companies, is a “meticulously crafted development designed to be a catalyst sustainable economic growth and the creation of a vibrant, integrated 

community. Envisioned as the central hub for Jamub's diversified portfolio.

 

 The park will feature cutting“edge manufacturing facilities and dedicated zones for minced agricultural and agro-allied industries, thereby meng innovation and driving regional prosperity.

Meanwhile, Johnpaul Pharmaceuticals Limited's Cleaning Products (FMCG) factory is a State of the heart facility by Johnpaul pharmaceutical limited, a subsidiary of the Jamub Group of companies located with the Mary Ogwuche industrial City Park at Inele in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.

 

 Strategically positioned In the underserved North Central project, ensuring timely and high quality completion. region, the factory will bridge a substantial market gap, enhance  product accessibility, and drive regional self-sufficiency  through job creation and economic stimulation.
