Warri North APC leaders back Tinubu, Oborevwori, say ‘they have done well’

Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC and other stakeholders of the party in Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, have passed vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, saying, “they have done well, in moving the country and state forward.”

Fresh Angle International, can report that the confidence vote, was passed Thursday January 22, at Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area, during APC stakeholders’ meeting.

The motion, which was moved by Hon. Joel Bisina, was supported by Delta State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services and Child Development, Orode Uduaghan and read by the member representing Warri North Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Fred Martins.

Chairman of the APC in Warri North, Comrade Omatseye Akatakpo, in his remarks, appealed to members of the ruling party and intending members, to register in the ongoing APC E-registration of members, in order to authenticate their membership of the party.

Comrade Akatakpo, encouraged the stakeholders and leaders to go back to the various wards in the Local Government Area, to mobilize members to partake in the E-registration exercise.

He commended members for their unity, saying it was the first time they were meeting, since PDP collapsed into APC in the state.

According to Akatakpo, chieftains of the party are the driving force, urging them to take the renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and the MORE Agenda of Governor Oborevwori to the grassroots, adding that the APC is a big and united party in Warri North, Delta State, and Nigeria at large.

Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area, Hon. Festus Ashima, who also addressed the party faithful, said anyone who was not with them in the gathering, is a noisemaker.

The Warri North Local Government Boss, emphasized that the meeting was crucial for the advancement of APC in 2027, urging all leaders from units to wards, to solidify their strength with APC in their areas, even as he commended Governor Oborevwori for the improved and massive transformation of the riverine areas in Delta State, with basic social amenities.

Hon. Ashima, also appreciated Tinubu for what he described as the President’s visionary development across the country, as well as his good economic policies.

S. Mene, Chief Promise Lawuru, Hon. Spencer Okpoye and the member representing Itsekiri Nation in the Board of DESOPADEC, Hon. Sunny Ofe.

The Vice Chairman Warri North Local Government Area, Hon. Florence Bisina, Former Warri North Chairman, Hon. Aduge Okorodudu, ex- Vice Chairman of Warri North, Hon. Dio Tanga, Chief Michael Odeli, Chief Moses Donyebi, Hon. Florence Mene and Comrade Jude Ukori, also addressed the gathering.
