Prominent member of the respected Itsekiri Leaders of Thought, ILOT, Engr. Oritsetimeyin Kojo Victor Wood, who passed in Lagos, Thursday April 2 at the age of 62, after a protracted illness, will be interred Friday July 3, Fresh Angle International, has learnt.
According to a statement by the families of Kuti and Emiko in Orugbo Town in Warri South Local Government Area, Jemide family of Daleoketa and Edierogun family of Jakpa, both in Warri North Local Government Area, the burial programme commences Thursday 2nd July with vigil mass at Annuciation Catholic Church, Ogunu in Warri, Delta State by 4pm.
The statement, which was credited to Eyituoyo Wood, for children, Mr. Alex Wood (for the Wood family) and Pa. Godwin Makelemi (for Kuti and Emiko families, Orugbo town) noted that the remains of Late Engr. Wood, will depart Navy Hospital Mortuary by 7.00am Friday July 3, to his residence at No. 23 Egbejule Street, Angle Park, Warri for lying in state.
There will be Funeral Mass at Annuciation Catholic Church, Ogunu, Warri by 10.00am same day, to be followed by Entertainment of Guests at Yonwuren College, Ugbuwangue, Warri by 12.00pm
The funeral arrangements, would be rounded off with thanksgiving mass, 6.30am Sunday July 5 at Annuciation Catholic Church, Ogunu, Warri.
