Labour Party Candidate for Warri Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Slater Christopher Omeresan, says the action of his party towards Warri Federal Constituents, will start speaking in the coming days, as campaigns for the Presidential and National Assembly elections commence August 19.
Slater, who assured that “the wrong done by past leaders” will be corrected, opined that they have been selecting and installing leaders for Warri Federal Constituency for a long time.
He stressed the need for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to allow the people’s wish count in the forthcoming 2027 polls.

Whilst declaring his resolve to fight for Warri Federal Constituents and bring good governance to the constituency, Slater, stated: “Without strategy, team work, the people and the grassroots, you cannot win an election, so as a grassroots person, I can’t do this without people of the Warri Federal Constituency.”

The Chairman of Labour Party, Warri South Local Government, Mr. Jude Odibei, who spoke exclusively to This Newspaper, said Slater is well-educated and exposed to attract development and other good things to Warri Federal Constituency, just as he appealed to Warri Federal Constituents, to support the candidacy of the Labour Party House of Reps flag-bearer.
Warri South Constituency I Candidate of Labour Party in the impending polls, Fregene Sandis Tosanwumi, stated: “People have been living in abject poverty and in darkness. Poverty have been weaponized, that is why someone will come with five thousand naira to sell vote, Labour Party is here to charge that narrative. The coming election, will not be business as usual, Labour Party is going to take over.”
