Delta Councilor, Iyonsi gives financial support to 200 constituents

The Councilor Representing Ogidigben Ward in Warri South-West Legislative Arm, Hon. Jackson Iyonsi, on Thursday October 22, gave financial support of fifty thousand naira (N50,000.00) each to 200 of his constituents.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               The local government lawmaker, who doled out the financial empowerment at Ugborodo in Warri South-West Local Government Area, explained that the largesse, was consequent upon a directive by Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Our Roving Correspondent, reports that Governor Oborevwori, had directed local government chairmen in the state, to ensure that each Councilor, carryout empowerment programme across their various wards.

The directive, was strictly adhered to by the Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni, who immediately provided the enabling environment for Councilors in Warri South-West Legislative Arm, to action the empowerment initiative.

Hon. Iyonsi, urged his constituents to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all APC legislative candidates in the January 2027 and February 2027 polls, to enable the ruling party consolidates the impact of critical reforms, industrialization and infrastructural development in the country as a whole and Delta State in particular.

Three of the beneficiaries; Charles Ogun, Weyinmi Faith Ajijala and Urunne Kola, commended Hon. Iyonsi and the leadership of All Progressives Congress in the state, led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
