Warri : INEC misteps  again, captures polling units in Omadino / Obodo Ward,  under Bowen

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, appears to have made more  mistakes in the controversial delineation of units and wards in Warri Federal Constituency, by uploading polling units such as Orere Town Hall, Uluba Farm Settlement and Uluba Town Hall, in the existing Omadino/ Obodo Ward 1 in Warri South Local Government Area and capturing the aforesaid units under Bowen Ward.

President of Itsekiri National Development Initiative, INDI, Comrade Abugewa Mene, who spotted the seeming error, in a widely circulated electronic statement, highlighted over five of such misplacements in INEC's latest upload of units and wards delineation in Warri South Local Government Area.

Comrade Mene, in the statement dated Thursday October 29, said INEC Officials in an attempt to satisfy " the interests of their paymasters" hurriedly " uploaded a deeply flawed and fraudulent delineation dataset fraught with obvious blunders."

The statement, reads: "Our attention has been drawn to a purported Warri South Ward Delineation uploaded on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, despite several pending court cases at the Federal High Court challenging the entire delineation exercise, specifically regarding Warri South Local Government Area (LGA).

"INEC officials, in an attempt to satisfy the interests of their paymasters, have hurriedly uploaded a deeply flawed and fraudulent delineation dataset fraught with obvious blunders:

1. Displacement of Omadino/Obodo Ward 1 Polling Units: Polling units such as Orere Town Hall, Uluba Farm Settlement, and Uluba Town Hall, which belong strictly under Omadino/Obodo Ward 1, have been erroneously captured under Bowen Ward.

2. Misallocation of Ubeji Polling Units: Polling Units 34, 35, 41, and 42 (Ubeji Primary School), which belong under Omadino/Obodo Ward 1, have been incorrectly placed in Ugbuwangue/Ekurede Itsekiri Ward 4 within Warri South LGA.

3. Cross-LGA Mapping Errors: Polling Units 07 and 08 (Ewein Primary School and others), which properly belong to Warri South West LGA, were erroneously imported into Warri South LGA under a newly manufactured ward named "Ewein." We categorically state that there is no "Ewein Primary School" or community in Warri South LGA.

4. Misplacement of Oteghele and Ukpokiti: Polling Units 21 and 22 (Oteghele and Ukpokiti), which legitimately belong to Omadino/Obodo Ward 1, were erroneously moved into Ogunu/Ekurede Urhobo Ward 3 in Warri South LGA.

5. Fabricated "Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Urban" Label: We state emphatically that there is no such entity as "Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Urban" in Warri South LGA. All areas erroneously designated or named as "Ogbe-Ijoh Urban" fall squarely within ancestral Okere community land.

" We hereby reiterate our complete rejection of the entire Ward Delineation exercise across Warri Federal Constituency and the data recently uploaded on the INEC portal.

"We emphasize unequivocally that there is no indigenous Ijaw population in Warri South LGA. We vow to resist this modern day expansionist attempt into Warri South LGA.

"We call on all organs of our youth structures to remain on high alert. This electoral fraud shall not stand."
