The Delta South leadership of the Julius Abure-led Labour Party structure has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering the political mandate of the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Delta State, Hon. Isaac Eshor, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The leadership also unanimously endorsed Ojumude Tosan Bishop and Eworitsemogha Peter Tsolaye, AAC candidates for Warri Federal Constituency and Warri South Constituency I, respectively.
Fresh Angle International, understands that the endorsement was done Friday, November 6 at the Police Officers’ Mess, Warri, during a strategic meeting chaired by Hon. Ese Oghenekaro, Delta South Chairman of the Julius Abure-led Labour Party structure.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Oghenekaro disclosed that the Labour Party structure in Delta State had entered into a political alliance with the AAC to support its candidates across electoral positions, from grassroots to state level. He recalled the earlier endorsement of AAC governorship candidate, Hon. Isaac Eshor, in Asaba, explaining that the Delta South meeting was convened to consolidate the alliance at the senatorial district level.
Members unanimously adopted motions endorsing Bishop and Tsolaye while reaffirming their support for Ishor as the AAC governorship candidate. Hon. Oghenekaro subsequently urged local government chairmen and the endorsed candidates to work collaboratively towards securing electoral victory.
Speaking after the endorsement, Eworitsemogha Peter Tsolaye acknowledged the promising prospects of the alliance, while Ojumude Tosan Bishop, who delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of AAC stakeholders present, expressed appreciation to the Labour Party leadership for its confidence, solidarity, and political support.
Bishop emphasised that the success of the alliance would depend on unity, mutual cooperation, and harmonious engagement among stakeholders of both political structures.
The meeting was attended by Labour Party structure chairmen across Delta South, other party leaders, Elder Lucky Oromoni, AAC Deputy Governorship Candidate, and the Delta Central leadership of the Julius Abure-led Labour Party structure, led by Comr. Emmanuel Okorodudun.
The meeting concluded following a motion for adjournment, marking another significant step towards strengthening the political alliance between the two party structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
