The Progressive People’s Alliance, PPA, has described the impeachment of the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Monday Igbuya as embarrassing, regrettable and a show of shame.
The Chairman of PPA, Delta State, Mr. Fred Obi who spoke in a chat with Our Correspondent on the impeachment slammed on Igbuya, noted that a house that is divided against itself cannot stand.
“The impeachment of the Speaker and members of his party shows that PDP is a completely disorganized political party, so we should not expect much from them, for they out rightly do not believe in the rule of law. Otherwise, how can people that call themselves legislators wake up and sat down at about 7am and decided to remove the Speaker with flimsy excuses that cannot be substantiated.”
The party boss call on all Deltans to “watch out for this group of people and completely vote them out in the 2019 general elections and give Delta new faces and a fresh breath.”
