Muslims advised to live peacefully

The World would have been a peaceful place to live until the date assigned to us by God to return home to the creator expires, this was the contention of Imam of Angwa, Momoh Rabiu at the Fidau prayer for Mullah Omale at Ankpa, Kogi State.

The Prayer which was for the repose of the soul of the mother of Assistant Comptroller General of Prison, ACG Ademu Omale was held Monday May 29.

He enjoined all Muslims to live exemplary life to ensure God's continuous assistance.

"Most of the problems we have in the country today is as a result of lack of patience and rush for material things of this World, a departure from Allah's injunction about our life and the World after", Momo said.

He admonished Muslims to use this period of fasting to draw closer to Alllah so as “to attract His blessing? for ourselves and the country as a whole”, noting that fasting is a moment of purification and individual rejuvenation in spirit.

The Prayer session attracted prominent Muslim leaders, from far and near.
