Feelers reaching Fresh Angle International say Madam Rosa, wife of High Chief Victor Emonena Egukawhare, CEO/MD of Deways Marine and Construction International, popularly known as Wayles was at about 9:45 am kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the Water Resources Area of Effurun near Warri, Sunday July 2.
The woman who we gathered was abducted sometime ago before her release, was in her Ash Coloured Jeep alongside her driver and a girl, when the heavily armed abductors laid ambush at the entrance of her street, opposite Devine Mercy Catholic Church and shot sporadically into the air as well as the tyres of the woman's car to puncture the Jeep's movement, before whisking her away in their (kidnappers') own car.
Though details were still sketchy as at the time of this report, the gunmen left the woman's driver and the girl inside the woman's Jeep unhurt as they drove off with their victim, while residents of the area scampered for safety while the operation lasted.
Our Correspondent who was close to the scene, reports that security men have taken away the Chief's wife Jeep, even as her husband who was said to be a philanthropist could not be reached for comment as at press time.
No contact has yet been established by the abductors.
