The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli has stressed his resolve to continually preach the message of peace in his domain, throughout Delta State and beyond, irrespective of tribe, religion and culture of others in the country.
The Warri Monarch gave the assurance Tuesday July 4 at the Olu Palace in Warri, Delta State when he played host to the new Commander of 371 Nigeria Airforce Detachment, Warri, Air Commodore Yakubu Daniel.
While noting that Niger Delta will experience more peace with the contribution of Air Commodore YD Daniel, The Olu of Warri assured the NAF Chief and his team of sustained advocacy for peaceful co-existence.
The 371 NAF Detachment Commander, Air Commodore Yakubu Daniel in his remark, encouraged the Olu of Warri to continually preach the message of peace to his subjects, saying it will attract more development to the Warri area and Niger Delta in general.
He appealed to people of Warri to continually live peacefully with each other.

The immediate past Transition Committee Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Dr. Augustine Uroye who was part of the Airforce Commander’s delegation, praised the peace campaign of the Olu of Warri and Air Commodore YD Daniel.
