The Itsekiri National Youth Congress, INYC has condemned the senseless killing of Samuel Mayomi, a married man with two kids at Ugborodo in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State, Wednesday August 23, saying no one has the right to take the life of another no matter the circumstances.
The apex Itsekiri youth body in a statement released to newsmen Friday August 25 by its President, Comrade Esimaje Awani, admonished Ugborodo leaders, especially the youths to forget their differences and work together in the task of developing Ugborodo.
According to the INYC President, people of Ugborodo should bear in mind that their internal leadership strife often have its spiral effect on the entire Itsekiri Nation, a situation which he said negatively affect the overall peace and development of Warri Kingdom.
Comrade Awani called on the Delta State Government and the relevant security agencies to put machineries in place to stop the recurring leadership crisis in Ugborodo, entrench peace and ensure that killer (s) of Samuel Mayomi face the wrath of the law so as to serve as deterrent to those intending to take the law into their hands at the slightest provocation.
