A coalition of political stakeholders comprising of all ethnic nationalities living in Warri federal constituency has called on the member representing the three Warri local governments at the National Assembly,Hon. Daniel Reyenieju to re-contest the constituency seat in the 2015 general elections.
In a statement made under the auspices of Eager Network for Development of Warri, ENDOW, members of the coalition which comprises of groups and association sin Warri federal constituency noted that Hon. Reyenieju’s continuous net working with serving federal lawmakers from other geopolitical zones in the country towards ensuring that the Petroleum Industry Bill, PIB is passed into law “is one of several efforts he is making towards providing a better deal for oil producing communities” as well as ensuring equity in the petroleum sector.
The statement which was signed by Mr. Ernest Ebisanine,Comrade Julius Benefowei, Mr. Edafe Edjuyovwi and Mrs. Eunice Ugochukwu,Chairman, Secretary, PRO and Women Leader respectively, noted that Hon.Reyenieju’s easy accessibility by people of his constituency, experience as a lawmaker as well as his candid views on burning national issues are further testament of his “impeccable qualities” needed for representation at the national level, “especially against the backdrop of the high stake politicking expected to intensify from 2015.”
They vowed to mobilize support for Hon. Reyenieju should he heed to their plea and re-contest the Warri federal constituency seat in2015.
