A prominent community leader in Warri South local government, Prince Agindotan Yonwuren has refuted media report which claimed he sold part of Ugbuwangue community market to an unnamed politician, stressing that the shops destroyed by hired thugs are his personal property which he was renovating after it was gutted by fire  in 2007.

Prince Agindotan Yonwuren who was visibly angry by the report he described as contrived, explained that he only sublet part of his land already having shops to Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC   when he was approached by the commission that they wanted to build a shopping complex.

While describing the actions of the “weapon carrying thugs and their internal sponsors as motivated by envy”, Prince Yonwuren said members of his family are still being threatened by the invaders.

The PDP chieftain noted that there is nothing like community land in Ugbuwangue, declaring that all lands are  family owned.
He averred that it is in a bid not to frustrate the state government peace and security agenda that he reported the destruction of his shops to the police, just as he disclosed that some of the properties stolen by the invaders have been recovered by the police after making some arrest.

Prince Yonwuren challenged any individual or group to publicly dispute the fact that all visible developments in Ugbuwangue community are his handiwork.
