With the coming of local government elections, Gov Okowa has demonstrated adherence to rule of law in obeying various courts judgements that caretakers committees are unconstitutional, again he has demonstrated a strong will that in democracy people are essence of democratic culture in enshrining a Democratic structure is important to SMART agenda.
We are blessed with Governor Okowa because of the uncommon transformation which even cynics and critics agree is great in face of the economic reality we are with a mono-economy. Deltans must reward Okowa with greater commitment and support him to make him achieve more. Warri is so strategic to the economy of the state and realisation of the Governor's dreams and aspirations, we cannot allow a political infidel who cannot build on the achievements of Okowa.
Warri to old Delta province is their eternal spiritual and political capital. You have Urhobo Ijaw, Itsekiri, Isoko, Ndokwa, Ibibio, Ishan, Bini and all other tribes who claim Warri. The unifying factor is the pidgin English and ways which classify us as Warri boys. Warri do not need a tribal irredentist who would not build on the peace agenda of Okowa.
Warri need a leader who is a rallying point. Though tribe and tongue may differ in brotherhood we stand, Warri need a humble leader who treats all whether low or high with respect, someone who picks calls and attend to problems, someone who understands the historical position of Warri and builds on it.
Among the crowd we are fortunate to have Michael Tidi. He symbolize all above and all irrespective of tribe or tongue should support him to restore the glory of Warri, there is no alternative today in making Warri great.
Micheal Tidi is young and idealistic, he is schooled in education and culture, he listens and very humble, he understands the feeling of youths and cherishes the wisdom of elders
Micheal Tidi's choice is restoring our pride, values as wafarians, let's support him and vote for him, he is running on the ticket of PDP a party that is part and parcel of Delta as a people, Micheal Tidi is our collective project let's join hands to achieve a better Warri.
