The Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, has announced the sack of Prof. Richard Akindele for allegedly demanding sex from a student, Monica Osagie, to upgrade her mark.
The OAU Vice-Chancellor, Eyitope Ogunbodede, announced the sacking at a press conference in Ile-Ife today June 20.
According to him, "the Governing Council of the institution sacked the lecturer, Prof. Richard Akindele, having found him guilty of all charges against him.”
