Re-elected Chairman of Okumagba l ward ll executive of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South local government, Delta State, Comrade Femi Okumagba has cautioned newly elected PDP executive members of his ward “to be wary of the likes of Chief Victor Okumagba and his group.”
He handed down the warning during the swearing in of newly elected members of Okumagba l ward ll executive in Warri.
Comrade Femi Okumagba while congratulating members of the new exco which has Daniel Awani as secretary for their election, wondered how the same Chief Victor Okumagba and his group who in a paid advertorial in a Delta based community newspaper on May 10, 2010 wrote and signed that he is the eldest grandchild of late Chief Samuel Ogodogbo Okumagba will suddenly turn again “to ask me to fully identify myself and whatever relationship I have with the Okumagba dynasty simply because of my refusal to join them in their marginalization campaign against our party rules.”
The Warri South local government area Chairman of PDP, Mr. Ama Agbajoh in a remark commended members of the party in Okumagba l ward ll for ensuring victory of the party in all elections since 1999, just as he opined that “constructive agitation is democratic if it is aimed at resolving issues amicably.”
Investigations reveal that while the former vice chairman of the ward, Ebaye Ese retains his position, the former secretary, Sunny Mene is now the legal adviser.
A member of the Warri South local government council transition committee, Mr. Alex Eda who was a former ex officio member has now been elected the new auditor of the ward.
Other executive members of the ward are: Oke Aminagha, Assistant Secretary, Ochuko Maduku, Treasurer, Tsuli Amiwero, Financial Secretary, George Eburu, Publicity Secretary, Festus Igherebuo, Organizing Secretary, Tangbatsemi Agatha, Woman Leader, Matthew Abu, Youth Leader, Mugege Ogunlana, Ex-Officio, Lucky Akuruli, Ex Officio, Ann Ugborikoko, Ex Officio, Mercy Ogharandukun, Ex Officio and Hope Edremoda, Ex Officio.
