Our SeniorCorrespondentwho went round the usually busy city between the hours of 7.30 and 9am on themarriage day reports that routes such as NPA Expressway, Airport road, thepopular Okere market was taken over by security agents, thus causing serioustraffic jam, while Ajamimogha road was cordoned off and commercial taxis whichdaily ply the Ogunu and Ubeji routes had to source for alternative routes.

Fresh Angle also gathered that motorbike riderscatch in on the traffic situation to increase their fares, just as passengerswho could not part with the hike in fares had to walk to their offices, schoolsand shops.
