Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi has felicitated with the newly inaugurated members representing Warri South Constituency 1 and 2 in Delta State House of Assembly, Dr. Augustine Uroye and Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru, respectively, describing their inauguration as heartwarming.
Dr. Tidi, in a terse statement released Monday June 10, immediately after inauguration of the new Delta State House of Assembly, expressed optimism that Dr. Augustine Uroye and Hon. Opuoru , will initiate people-driven laws that would ensure a stronger Delta State and meet the yearnings of Warri South people.
Dr. Uroye was a former Warri South Local Government Transition Committee Chairman, while Hon. Matthew Opuoru, was a former DESOPADEC Commissioner and Ex-Senior Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Political Matters.
The Warri South Chairman promised to work with the new local government representatives in the State legislature, with a view to enhancing the general well-being of Wafarians.
